What to expect when you book a heat pump installation with Wasabi Air…
Quote:
The first step is for us to visit your property, or view your renovation / new build plans, to carry out a quote and make a recommendation on the right solution to meet your needs and budget. This will take around 30-45 minutes.
Often, we can provide pricing on the spot. However, for more complex quotes we’ll have this to you within 48 hours.
Acceptance:
If you’d like to book your installation, contact us and we’ll arrange a time that suits. We will also send you an invoice for a deposit to secure your heat pump installation.
Depending on the time of year, it can between one and two weeks lead time for your installation.
Some jobs take half a day, and others can be 2-3 days. We’ll let you know at the time what to expect.
On the day of your heat pump installation:
It’s helpful if you can be there in the morning to meet with the installers to discuss the job. There will always be one installer on-site who will be your main point of contact.
Our installers will do their best to keep the site as tidy as possible during the job and will clean the site to a tidy standard before they leave.
Where possible, the installer will teach you about the operation of your new heat pump once it’s installed.
We’ll leave you with the electrical certificate of compliance, operating manuals and any other relevant documentation.
Final invoice
Once you’ve confirmed with the installer that you are happy with your heat pump and our service, our office will send you the final invoice. Your invoice is payable within seven days.
On-going heat pump maintenance
We recommend that you clean the filters of your heat pump at least every three months. We’ll show you how to do this once we’ve finished the installation.
We also recommend an annual maintenance check by one of our qualified technician’s. During the scheduled maintenance we will do a thorough service and check of the unit. This ensures it’s running at its best for optimum energy efficiency, and that you are meeting the conditions of the warranty. We’ll keep a record of when this is due and call you once a year to book this in.
